Crochet Sundress (work in progress)

Hello everyone!

Hope all of you are having a lovely week... Mine is turning out to be a very fruitful one :-)

Mornings are very hectic for me, specially the weekdays...I think it's same with all of you.

Presently, I'm working on a lovely crochet project: a sundress for my five years old daughter. It's half crocheted and half fabric (not good at sewing though). I always make a sketch of the pattern and ideas I have in mind....makes your job much easier.

As I don't have a sewing machine, I'm hand sewing the dress - fabric skirt with the crochet bodice (taking longer time than usual). Hopefully, by next week the sundress should be ready to wear.

I'll try to come up with the pattern to share with you all but as of now check out the crochet stitch I used for the bodice. I modified it a little bit from the original stitch.

Some of the materials I used for the dress...

 These buttons look so cute...

I used 4-ply soft knitting cotton and 1.5 mm hook....worked pretty well.

Oh! this is such a beautiful trim...it was sitting in my stash for long (gifted by my sister)...finally, got to use it. A crochet lace too would enhance the look of the dress. I'll be using it at the waist.

Working on lot of other projects...mostly for spring/summer. I'll share all of it once they are done :-)

Please let me know if you like the crochet sundress. As soon as I write the pattern, I'll share it with you all...so, stay in tune.

Happy crocheting & knitting!

Aman
